How to Play Scramble Jamble

"Scramble Jamble" is a children's card game released around 1999 by The United States Playing Card Company. This company is well-known for their Bicycle Playing Cards, but no longer publishes the "Scramble Jamble" game. Fortunately, the game can easily be tracked down through Internet retailers or garage sales. This game is designed for 2 to 4 players, and is intended for ages 4 and up. The deck is comprised of cards representing the feet, heads and bodies of 16 different characters. The main purpose of the game is to match up a full body for each character.

Instructions

    • 1

Shuffle the cards. Distribute seven cards to each player. The remaining cards are set face-down in the middle. A maximum of seveb cards can be in a player's hand at a time.

    • 2

All players attempt to make a full set for characters with the cards in their hand. A set includes feet, head and body cards for each character (denoted on the right side of each card).

    • 3

The player to the right of the dealer starts. The player asks the group if they have a specific card (e.g., Country Singer Feet). A player holding the card must give it up. Otherwise, the player draws from the deck. If the player has more than seven cards, one must be discarded. Sets completed can be laid out in front of the player.

    • 4

Repeat Step 3, moving counterclockwise around the table, until the deck runs out.

    • 5

The points listed on the complete sets each player has are added together. The player with the most points wins.
