Pumpkin Roll
Mark a starting line and a finish line 20 feet apart. Give each child a pumpkin. Have the kids race to see who can roll his pumpkin to the finish line the fastest.
Eyeball Toss
Carve the insides out of two large pumpkins or use plastic pumpkins. Use a marker to color white ping-pong balls to resemble eyeballs. Draw a chalk line for the kids to stand behind. Give each child five balls. The children must bounce the ping-pong balls on concrete and into the pumpkins to earn points. The child who earns the most points wins a prize.
Bobbing for Body Parts
Fill a small plastic swimming pool with gelatin or cooked spaghetti noodles. Place scary items, like fake plastic spiders, fingers and eyeballs, into the pool. Blindfold each child and give him 30 seconds to find five items. Any child who does this wins a small prize.
Candy Hunt
Hide candy outdoors and allow the children to have a candy hunt, similar to an Easter egg hunt. Give each child a small, empty pumpkin-themed favor bag for the candy. The children can take home all the candy they find as a memento of the party. You can also award an additional prize to the child who finds the most candy.
