Upper Deck acquired the right to distribute Yu-Gi-Oh! trading cards from Konami, and oversea its official game tournaments. Since Upper Deck's involvement with the trading card game, participants in any official tournaments are required to have a UDE, or Upper Deck Entertainment, number. This number represents a player's Upper Deck membership and keeps track of a player's performance in official tournament games. You can request a UDE number before playing in a tournament game.
