Hats
Supply the girls in your group with plain straw hats. Straw hats are available for purchase at most craft stores. Then supply the girls with a wide variety of craft supplies, such as feathers, jewels and bows. You can also supply the girls with acrylic paints and brushes, as desired. Use a timer and tell the girls to "go", with their objective to attach as many ornaments on the hat as possible within a time period specified by you. The person with the most ornamentation on their hat wins. Let the girls wear their hats for the day when done.
Old Clothes
Gather as many old clothes from your closets as possible and put them in boxes without lids. Have the girls stand near the boxes and then call out a fashion period, such as the 60s or 50s. The object of the game is for the girls to dress in that fashion period using the clothing in the boxes as quickly as possible. The girls may have to be creative with the clothing to create their fashion look, and must have a complete outfit including, top, bottoms, shoes, hat and accessories. The first person to complete the wardrobe wins.
Dolls
Use a sewing machine, needle and thread, or simply craft glue and some craft supplies to make fashion clothing for dolls. Each girl should get several dolls and be tasked with creating her own doll fashion line. Next, have the girls conduct their own doll fashion show and vote on the winner of the game. You can also make the fashion show an "event" and invite other family members or friends to view the show and applaud for the person they think has the best doll fashion line.
Paper Dolls
Use construction paper and design your own paper dolls with your girls. Give each girl a strand of 5 to 10 paper dolls and a supply of craft items, as well as glue. You can supply felt squares, various colors of construction paper, glitter and beads, for example. Have the girls design an outfit for each of the paper dolls on their strand. The first girl to dress-up all of the paper dolls wins.
