Start
The start of the Caramella girls was when someone put together a sped-up version of the original song, "Caramelldansen," and a video of three animated girls dancing to the song. It went viral on the Internet and the song became a huge hit in some countries. The owners of the patent on the animated characters, Remixed Records, decided to call them "The Caramella Girls."
Music
The Caramella Girls include Vera, the brown-haired character, Mindy, the blond-haired character and Nadine, the purple-haired character. A new song called "Boogie Bam Dance" was released recently with a corresponding video of the characters doing a dance routine called the "Boogie Bam Dance." The lyrics encourage the listener to do the dance along with the characters. The songs are available for purchase on iTunes.
Game
After the success of the Caramella Girls songs on YouTube, a music game was created that is based on rhythm, speed, finger sensitivity and memory. You have to purchase it to download to your iPhone or iPad. The object of the game is to copy the Caramella Girls dance moves by tapping the buttons in sync with the icons on the beat bar on top. If you miss a dance move, you lose power. When no power is left, the game is over. There are three levels to the game and music tracks are available in English, Swedish and German. This game can be played with friends or with participants around the world.
Future
The Carmaella Girls have an official website, a Facebook fan page or you can follow them on Twitter. With the success of the music and the game, there will most likely be more from the Caramella Girls.
