Leapster Princess Games

Leapster, by LeapFrog, is a hand-held learning console. Children can read books, play games and complete educational activities. For little girls, Leapster has partnered with Disney to produce games based on the Disney Princess franchise and other Disney movies. Most games are appropriate children ages 4 through 7.
  1. Disney Princess and the Frog

    • Based on the Disney movie "The Princess and the Frog," this game allows children to practice math and spelling skills with Princess Tiana. Children can choose the correct numbers to help Princess Tiana make food in the kitchen and use addition and subtraction skills to help characters navigate the Bayou.

    Tangled

    • "Tangled" is a Disney movie based on the fairy tale "Rapunzel." As part of the Leapster game based on this movie, children can practice their spelling and reading skills while interacting with characters from the movie. As children play games and earn points, they unlock more spelling games to play as they work to rescue Rapunzel and travel through a magical kingdom.

    Disney Princess: Pop-up Story Adventures

    • Disney Princess: Pop-up Story Adventures allows children to interact with Belle and Cinderella as they read through simulated pop-up books that tell the stories of these two characters. As part of the game, children can play mini-games about music and spelling. Children also complete activities related to phonics and spelling skills while reading through the pop-up stories.

    Disney Princess Worlds of Enchantment

    • The Disney Princess Worlds of Enchantment game contains activities related to shapes, counting and spelling. Children can match letters with the correct sounds and answer spelling questions with characters from the movie "Beauty and the Beast" or complete number recognition and counting games with characters from "The Little Mermaid."

    Disney Princess Enchanted Learning

    • As part of the Disney Princess Enchanted Learning game, children can solve addition and subtraction problems with Ariel and learn to recognize numbers. Characters from the movie "Cinderella" help children learn uppercase and lowercase letters by tracing Cinderella's dance steps and explore literary concepts such as alliteration by singing songs with the fairy godmother.
