How to Get a Yu-Gi-Oh! COSSY Card

The Japanese card game, Yu-Gi-Oh!, conducts official tournaments around the globe. Without a COSSY card, Yu-Gi-Oh! players can't compete in any of the official tournaments. COSSY is short for the Konamic Card Game Official Tournament Support System. With an official COSSY, or player ID, you can compete in events such as the Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship series and North American World Championship Qualifier and possibly win a variety of different prizes and to increase your ranking as one of the top players in the world.

Instructions

  Go to or contact your local Yu-Ki-Oh! tournament store. To find your local tournament stores or find upcoming tournaments, see Resources.

  Register for a COSSY-sponsored event. Some events allow participants to pre-register days before or register the day of the event.

  Show up, pay the registration fee (which is typically about $20), and compete in the COSSY-sponsored event at your local tournament store. Bring your Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. You will receive your COSSY, or player ID card before the event starts.

  Register online on Konami's COSSY website after the tournament to view your ranking with other tournament players.
