How to Install the Battery in a LeapFrog Tag

The LeapFrog Tag School Reader system is designed to help students with developing reading skills. The Tag device works with Tag-enabled books to give word-by-word assistance by speaking the words through the built-in speaker as the student follows the words in the book. The Tag device uses two AAA batteries to operate. The process of installing the batteries in a LeapFrog Tag device is fairly straightforward.

     Use the flat-head screwdriver to unscrew the screw on the battery door; then lift the battery door off the device.

     Insert the two AAA batteries in the battery compartment, aligning the metal contacts "+/-" on the batteries with the metal contacts "+/-" inside the battery compartment.

     Replace the back cover and tighten the screw to secure it in place on the device.
