Set Up
Choose a name for your team and write it inside the oval on the scoreboard. Have the other team do the same.
Place the scoreboard and marker near the playing area, and shuffle the 10 scoring cards. Divide them between the two teams.
Arrange the scoring cards in order from one to 10, then place them face-up in a pile on the table. Place the card box within reach of both teams.
Add the numbers on each of the five cards and tally the total. Compare the totals between both teams; the team with the highest total goes first.
Team One
Take a card from the "Buzzword" card box and read the word out loud. Flip the 45-second timer over and read the clues on the card. Work with your other team members using the clue and the buzzword to guess an answer.
Say the answer out loud, or say "pass" if the team doesn't know. Your team can skip to the next clue, but can not go back to the previous clue.
Stop reading when the timer runs out. Answers after the timer are not scored.
Team Two
Have one player hold the scoring cards and another watch the timer while the other team is playing.
Place one card face-up on the table for each clue read by the other team. Continue laying the cards down in a row as the clues are read. The scoring cards must be in numerical order, and the numbers on them coincide with the numbered clue that is read.
Flip the scoring card over if the corresponding clue is answered correctly. Leave the card face up if the team passes on the clue.
Yell "Buzz" when the timer runs out. Leave any remaining scoring cards face up on the table. The same reader from the opposing team must read out loud the clues that were either passed or unanswered. The opposing team can now answer or pass the question. Each correct or stolen answer is worth one point. Alternate rounds until one team reaches 50 points and both teams have had an equal number of rounds. That team is the winner.
