Beauty
Create manicure and pedicure stations. Ask a couple of adults to help you treat the teen girls with a manicure and pedicure. Some supplies you will need include hand and foot scrubs, a variety of nail polishes, nail files, nail buffers, nail polish remover, hand towels and foot soaks. To make this into a game, ask the teen girls to sit around a table and select a partner. The girls may do each other's nails. They can use toothpicks to draw designs on the nails and decal stickers to create patterns. Award prizes to the most creative, best and funniest nail art.
Crafts
Give each teen girl a pair of white canvas tennis shoes and ask them to sit around a table. Place puff paints, glitter pens, fabric markers, fabric paint pens and rhinestones on the table. Each girl can decorate her own pair of shoes. For other ideas, let the girls decorate pillowcases, hats, visors and T-shirts. Use light colors so the designs will show up. Make this activity into a contest; award prizes to the best and most creative designs.
Relay Races
For a funny relay race, divide the girls into two teams. Ask both teams to select one girl to sit in a chair. Mark a starting line 10 feet from the chairs and tell the rest of the players to line up at the starting line. Give each girl in the chair a cup or juice of milk and a large spoon. When you say, "Go," the first player from each team line must race to their teammate in the chair, grab the spoon and feed her a spoonful of milk or juice. She will race back to tag the next player in line. Each player must feed the girl a spoonful of liquid. The team that feeds all the liquid from the cup to their teammate first wins the game. For another relay race, mark a starting line and finish line 30 feet apart. Give each girl a raw egg and a small spoon. Tell the girls they must race with the egg in the spoon. The girl who crosses the finish line first with her egg still on her spoon wins the race. If she drops her egg at any time, she must start over.
Scavenger Hunt
Hide girl items like earrings, hair accessories, jewelry, makeup, belts and body glitter around the play area. Give each teen a plastic bag. When you say, "Go," the girls must find as many items as they can. The girl who finds the most items wins the game. For an added bonus, mark stars on some of the items. A girl who finds a star-marked items wins a prize, too. For another idea, create a glow scavenger hunt. Hide glow jewelry inside the house and turn the lights off. The girl who finds the most glow items wins.
