How to Draw Hop Scotch

There are many different styles of hop scotch grids that may be used to play the game. The eight-squared grid is a simple pattern that even a child could draw. You play hop scotch by throwing a marker into one of the grid's squares. The player hops over the square with the marker and continues hopping until the end of the grid is reached. Make sure that only one leg is used on single squares and both legs are used for double squares. Hop scotch is a game that can help your kids develop balance and gross motor skills.
