What Are Some Kid Rhymes for Hand Clapping Games?

Ask a child to memorize the days of the week, months of the year or the 50 states and you might be met with resistance. But ask her to memorize a rhythm and rhyme and she can probably recite it easily after a few tries. Clapping rhymes help children develop important language and coordination skills and can be adjusted to suit toddlers, preschoolers or elementary school students.
