Prize Auction
Give each girl $50 in fake money to use in the auction. Place several wrapped and unwrapped gifts on a table. The girls will bid on the items one at a time and the high bidder wins the prize. Some gift ideas include items like hairbrushes, makeup, lighted mirrors, scrapbook kits and nail polish. For added fun, make a couple of the wrapped gifts empty boxes with no prize at all. Tell the girls they will take a chance by bidding on the wrapped prizes because they could be nothing.
Glow Scavenger Hunt
Hide several glow-in-the-dark items around the play area. Girly glow-in-the-dark jewelry or shapes, such as lips and high heels, are available online and at some retail or dollar stores. Give each girl a small paper sack and have her hunt for items. Play this hunt at night or in a dark room so some of the items will stand out. The girl who finds the most items wins a prize. For added fun, mark a star on a couple of the items -- the girls who find those items also win prize.
Dough Dolls
Have the girls sit around a table. Put out a variety of clay and play dough colors and other items like googly eyes, yarn, fabric pieces and toothpicks. Tell the girls they have 20 minutes to create a doll using the items on the table. After 20 minutes, award prizes for the best, most creative, funniest and scariest doll creations.
Lipstick Relay Race
Create a girl relay race using two long-hair wigs, two pair of high heels, and a basket of lipstick. Mark two lines about 20 feet apart. Place a small basket of lipstick at the line opposite of the starting line. Divide the girls into two teams. Give the first player in each team line a wig and a pair of high heels. When you say "Race," the first girl in each team line must put on the wig and heels. She must race to the run-to line and put on some lipstick. Then she has to race back to the next player in line to give her the wig and heels. Each player in line must do the same thing. The first team to finish the relay race wins the game.
