Ninja Swords
The basic ninja sword is the hidden knife (at a cost of 3,000). From there, you can upgrade to a ninja knife, short edge and spell edge. The spell edge is the most expensive, at 16,000.
Axes
Three kinds of axes are available in the game. The battle axe has an attack value of 9 and a cost of 1,500, the giant axe has an attack value of 12 and a cost of 4,000, and the most powerful axe, the slasher, has an attack value and cost of 16 and 12,000.
Shields
You can use more than a dozen different shields in "War of the Lions." The basic is the escutcheon. More specialized shields include the bronze shield, round shield and mythril shield. The ice shield defends best against fire but is weak against lightning.
Accessories
There's a wealth of accessories with which to equip your characters in the game. Reflect rings, defense rings and magic rings guard against opponent tactics such as "sleep" and "death sentence." Armlets, such as the diamond armlet or jade armlet, defend against spells and other attacks. Different kinds of shoes, such as feather boots and sprint shoes, make your character faster and more agile.
