Battleship

• Battleship is a two-player board game in which opponents position their ships strategically on a grid. Each player takes turns calling out points on the grid, attempting to land on the other player's ships. Each time a player guesses a point correctly, it is considered a hit. Once all of the parts of the ship have been hit, it is considered sunk. The first player to sink all of the other player's ships wins.

Checkers

• Checkers is a board game designed for two people in which opponents seek to eliminate all of the pieces of the other player from the board. This is accomplished by jumping a circular red or black chip diagonally over the opponent's chip and landing in an open space on the board. Chips may only be moved forward toward the opponent's area until they become king or crowned. To become crowned, a chip must make it all the way to an open space on the farthest side of the board. Once crowned, the chip can move forward or backward across the board. The player with at least one chip left on the board at the end is the victor.

Guess Who?

• Guess Who is a two-player game that incorporates a board for each player containing a multitude of upright cards with pictures of people on them. Each player draws from the pile a card with a character picture. The players take turn asking questions about the other players character such as "do you have glasses." If the other player answers no, the player who asked the question will then flip down all of the characters on his board that have glasses on. The players take turns asking questions and this continues until one player correctly guesses the other player's character name.

War

• War is a card game in which two players face off, each with half of the deck, attempting to take the other player's cards. Each player must flip over a card from the top of his pile to reveal the card value. The one who has a higher card value wins the round and takes the other player's card. If identical cards are flipped over, the players enter war. Each player places two cards face down and a third card face up. The player with the higher valued third card wins and takes all of the cards in the war. The player that takes all of the other player's cards wins.
