Crayola Fabric Markers Instructions

Crayola fabric markers work on fabric the same way that other Crayola products work on paper. Select a cloth surface that is made out of a poly-cotton blend, 100% cotton or denim, and then decorate. No special tools are required, and you don't have to cure the fabric with an iron or chemical agent. Crayola recommends using markers to decorate a book bag, label a closet organizer or make a fabric game board.

Instructions

    • 1

Put on craft clothes or an art apron.

    • 2

      Lay newspaper over your workspace.

    • 3

Place a piece of cardboard under the fabric you are decorating. Or slide the cardboard inside a bag or shirt to prevent bleeding to the back of the item.

    • 4

Draw on the fabric with the markers. Cap markers tightly when they are not in use. Do not leave markers uncapped on the table.

    • 5

Leave the item to air dry overnight.
