Things You'll Need
Instructions
Preparation
Put your scoring vest over your head with the numbered side over your chest. Adjust the shoulder straps. Slide the straps that go around your waist through the holes in the front, fold over and attach so it is snug.
Put on the Vision Wear safety glasses that Nerf provides.
Load all 10 darts into the gun's launching tubes. Pull back the slide on the top of the gun until it snaps.
One-on-One Play
Hit your opponent with as many darts as possible with one round of ammo. Whoever tags the other person the most wins.
Shoot your opponent as many times as possible. Each player can reuse the other player's darts that miss. The winner in this version is the person with the least number of darts on the scoring vest.
Decide on a number of points, 150 for example, before beginning the game. Each player shoots at numbered targets on the other person's vest. The number for each hit is then subtracted from the original 150 points. For example, if you shoot the 10 target on the vest, your score drops to 140. The first player to hit zero wins.
Stand back-to-back with your opponent. Each of you takes 10 steps forward then turns around and fires all of the darts in the gun at the other player. The player with the most hits wins.
Team Games
Fire as many darts as possible at the players on the opposite team, reloading as many times as possible. When you get hit, you're out. The last player who hasn't been eliminated wins.
Pick a person to go without a gun who will be the "rabbit." The rabbit runs and hides. After one minute, the other players try to find the rabbit and tag him with a dart. Once tagged, the rabbit can pick another player to take his place, run and hide. This playing continues as long as players like.
Divide into two teams each with an equal number of players. Choose two home bases. Put a piece of cloth or a flag in a visible spot at each home base. Players on each team try to capture the other team's flag and return it to their own home base without getting hit with a dart. If a player without the flag is hit with a dart, he goes back to his team's home base and counts to 20 before getting back in the game. If a player holding the flag is hit, he drops the flag, goes to his home base and counts to 20. The flag either stays where it is or its team members try to return it to their home base without getting hit.
