Catwalk Queen
Fill a dressing-up box with all kinds of clothing and accessories. Add items with plenty of sparkle and glamour, such as feather boas, tiaras, costume jewelry, large sunglasses and hats. Let each girl take a turn creating a costume, then have her parade along a catwalk while everyone claps and cheers. Play lively music and take lots of photos so each girl feels like a catwalk queen.
Pass the Purse
Fill a purse with small treats and fashion accessories. Carefully wrap each item. Have the girls sit in a circle and play this game in the same way as traditional Pass the Parcel, passing the purse around the circle as the music plays. When the music stops, the girl who is holding the purse can open it, remove a gift and unwrap it. Play continues until the purse is empty, and the last player holding it wins the purse.
Feather Boa Limbo
Have two girls hold a feather boa between them. Play some carnival music and have the other girls line up and take turns to try to limbo underneath the boa. They must do so without touching the floor with their hands. Once everyone has had a turn, lower the boa a little and have them try again. The girl who can limbo the lowest wins the feather boa.
What's Missing?
Fill a tray with about 20 small makeup and fashion items such as lipstick, nail polish, hair clips and perfume bottles. Have all the girls stare at the tray for two minutes and try to memorize the items. Take the tray away and remove one item. Give the girls another two minutes to try and work out what's missing. Have them write their answers on pieces of paper and have prizes for whoever guesses correctly.
