How to Play Hannah Montana UNO

The Hannah Montana version of Uno is similar to the classic Mattel Uno game, but has a different theme and a few different cards and rules. Hannah Montana is a Disney channel television show about a brunette teenage rock star trying to keep her life as normal as possible. To do this, she dresses in disguise with a blond wig and goes by the name Hannah Montana. This special Uno game targets girls who not only love card games, but Hannah Montana as well.

Instructions

    • 1

Round up players. The game is geared for children ages seven and older because there's some math required. You can play the game with as few as two people, or as many as ten.

    • 2

Lay the cards face down so everyone can pick one card. The player with the highest number on her card is deemed the dealer. If you draw a card with a symbol, this is considered a zero. The players' turns will then proceed to the left of the dealer.

    • 3

Shuffle all the cards and have the dealer deal them out, seven cards for each player. The dealer then lays the remaining cards face-down in the middle of the players. This creates what is known as the draw pile, from which players can pick the top card if they're unable to play any cards they have in their hands.

    • 4

Flip the top card of the draw pile over. The top card is taken off and laid face-up next to the draw pile. This creates the discard pile for players to lay their cards during their turns.

    • 5

Start the game. Going in the predetermined order, players must either match the color or number of one of the cards they're holding to the top card in the discard pile. If players are unable to make a match, they must draw one card from the draw pile in order to find a suitable match. If they still have no match, the next player takes a turn.

    • 6

Play an action card, if you get the opportunity. There are seven types of action cards: the "draw two" card means the next player must draw two cards but can't make a play until the next round. The "reverse" card reverses the order of players. The w "skip" card skips the next players turn. There are two wild cards, which means you can change the color on the discard pile to any color you'd like. The wild card labeled "draw four" lets you do this and make the next player draw four extra cards and miss a turn. You can only play the draw four wild card if you have no other option. The "world tour" card allows you to steal another player's hand and replace your hand with theirs.

    • 7

Yell "Uno!" when you only have one card left. If you forget to yell Uno, you must draw two cards. Once you run out of cards, the game pauses to tally up the other players' hands. If you are the first player to run out of cards, you receive all the points from the other players' hands.

    • 8

Tally up the points. Cards that have a number are tallied according to the number on the card. The "draw two" cards, "reverse order" cards, and "skip" cards are all worth 20 points. Both wild cards and "world tour" cards are worth 50 points each.

    • 9

Continue playing. The player who has run out of cards draws four more and continues the game until a player reaches 500 points, at which point she is deemed the winner.
