Lying in Wait
Divide the players into two teams, Team A and Team B. Team A heads out to find a hiding spot, leaving behind a trail of objects for Team B to follow later. Team B waits for 100 seconds, then follows Team B's trail. Once Team B stumbles upon Team A's hiding spot, Team A chases Team B all the way back to the starting point, tagging players as they go. Any player tagged joins the opposing team. Players who reach the designated safe point stay on the same team. Both teams take turns until all players have become part of only one team.
Ghost in the Graveyard
Play this game in an outdoor spot at night. Select one player out of the group to play the "ghost" and leave the group to find his hiding spot. The rest of the group counts to 100, then starts the search for the ghost. Once a player spots the ghost, she yells out "Ghost in the graveyard," which prompts the other players to make a dash for the assigned base. The first player tagged by the ghost becomes the new ghost in the second round.
Zap
Zap is another game played outside in the dark. Pick two players to be the seekers as all other players hide. The seekers count to 30 as the group disperses to their hiding spots. The seekers then search for the hiders, using flashlights to "zap" any players they see. Once a player gets zapped, he takes over the seeker duty and has to count to 30 seconds while the zapper finds a hiding spot, then proceeds with his seeker duties. The game can go on for as long as you like.
Sardines
Pick one player to go out and hide. All other players count to 50 while the player hides. When they reach 50, the players spread out and search for the hiding player. As soon as a player finds the hider, she stays with the hider. The game continues with all players remaining with the hider until only one person has not found the hider. The last remaining player then becomes the new hider.
