Bubble Mania
Provide each player with a butterfly net or a garden fairy "wand" made from a long-stemmed, silk flower from a local discount store. Have an adult blow bubbles or use an automatic bubble machine to fill the game space with bubbles. Play lively folk or classical music and instruct the players to try and "catch" the bubbles with their nets or tap them with their garden fairy wands. Bubble Mania is a fun game to play as guests are arriving at your party.
Flowerpot Ring Toss
Using craft glue, attach large silk flowers to the end of a straight tree branch or wooden dowel rod. Insert the dowel or branch into a medium flowerpot filled with craft foam. Cover small hoops with ribbon or colorful artificial flowers to make garden fairy "rings." Players must toss the fairy rings over the flowerpot to win.
Musical Lily Pads
Similar to the traditional party game Musical Chairs, this garden fairy game uses lily pads cut out of craft foam or large green pillows instead of chairs. Place the lily pads in a circle, using one less than the number of players present. Play festive Celtic or folk music as players pretend to fly or dance from one lily pad to the next. When the music stops, the fairy without a lily pad to land on is out of the game.
Stomp the Toadstool
Using a permanent maker or a paint pen, draw polka dots on several brightly colored latex balloons to look like toadstools. Set a timer and have players try to pop the balloons by stomping or sitting on them before the timer runs out. For an added surprise, fill the balloons before inflating them with small trinkets or prizes for the players to find after they pop the balloons.
