Throw a Smile
Have one person start by smiling as broadly as possible as he looks around at everyone else, who must keep straight faces despite being grinned at. The smiler then brings a hand in front of his face and passes it over his mouth as if removing the smile in his hand. He now appears solemn and straight-faced like the others and pretends to throw the smile to someone else. The catcher has a chance to grin for as long as he wants before throwing a smile to the next person.
Face Pulling Contest
Professional face pulling is called gurning, and international face-pulling competitions take place around the world. There is even a world champion. Hold your own competition by taking turns to pull the silliest face you can think of. Have the others give you a mark out of 10. Add up all the scores and declare the person with the highest score the winner.
Facial Forfeits
Sit in a circle to play this game. Write forfeits on pieces of paper and place them in a hat. Take turns rolling two dice. If a double is thrown, the player must pull a forfeit from the hat and perform what it says. The forfeits should be based on silly things to do with your face, such as, "Pretend to be sucking a really sour candy" or "Cross your eyes and try to touch your nose." Play continues around the circle until everyone has had a turn or all the forfeits have been used.
Catch a Cookie
You will need a pack of cookies for this game. Have one player sit in the hot seat and place a cookie on her forehead. Give her one minute to move the cookie from her forehead to her mouth without touching it with her hands. She will need to gently tilt her head and move her facial muscles to slowly move the cookie along. Some hilarious facial contortions are sure to be involved in the process. If the cookie falls off, she may start again, but has to complete the task within the time frame.
