Kids Bops Games

Bop It games are reactionary audio games kids play by following a series of commands issued by the game's audio output. Bop It game toys, marketed by Hasbro, typically feature twistable cranks, spinning wheels, pull handles and toggle switches that players manipulate at a fast pace according to the game's audio cues. Bop It games come in a variety of versions that kids can play for fun and to test their mental reflexes and concentration skills.
  1. Bop It

    • The original Bop It features a large button in the middle to bop, a blue lever to pull and a yellow lever to twist. The game's electronic voice prompts the "twist it," "pull it" and "bop it" commands that kids respond to by appropriately manipulating the corresponding levers in the shortest time possible. In some newer Bop It game versions, kids can shout into the game's built-in microphone to score points. Kids can play Bop It solo or with friends.

    Bop It Extreme

    • Bop It Extreme raises the game's difficulty a notch higher with the introduction of two more levers --- "flick it" and "spin it." Because of its difficulty level and because the game verbally taunts players, Bop It Extreme is suited for children 16 years and older. The game is played by pulling, bopping and twisting the respective game levers at the game's prompt in the shortest response time possible, similar to the original Bop It game. Online and phone versions of the game are played by pressing different keys that represent the game's levers. The game is available for download to your phone from websites.

    Bop It Bounce

    • Bop It Bounce features a handheld trampoline and a small ball and is played by bouncing the ball the best you can within the shortest time possible, following cues issued by the game's electronic voice. The game gives commands that guide kids through up to six levels of varying difficulties. Game levels include Max Bounce, which tests how fast kids can bounce the ball in 30 seconds; Infinite Bounce, which tests how long kids can keep bouncing; Hang Time, which tests how high kids can bounce; and Right Height, which challenges kids to match the shots called by the game's electronic voice. Online versions of the game also exist and follow the same game-play instructions, only that kids move the trampoline side-to-side when controlling the bouncing ball with their PC's arrow keys.

    Bop It Pinball

    • Bop It Pinball is a pinball game with a Bop It adaptation. Kids work with the "pull it," "twist it," "bop it" and "shake it" levers at the game's prompt to score points and move up to different levels. As with the other Bop It games, online versions and phone apps are also available. Kids follow online and phone game commands by pressing designated buttons representing the different levers. For instance, to follow the "twist it" command, kids press any arrow key on their PC's keyboard; to "bop it," kids press the space bar; and to "pull it," they click and drag the mouse toward them. Bop It Pinball adds taunting directions and sound effects that make the game all the more interesting.
