Circle Ball
Have all the teens stand in a circle and select one player to be "it." The "it" player has to stand in the middle of the circle with a soccer ball, volleyball or basketball. The teens must stand with their feet spread apart, touching the feet of the players next to them. They can rest their hands on their knees to get ready for the game. The "it" player has to try to roll the ball through a player's legs. Players can use their hands to stop the ball. If the ball makes it through, that player is out and the "it" player keeps rolling the ball. If a player catches the ball, the "it" player is out and that player takes his spot. The last four players remaining in the circle and the "it" player win a prize.
Pass the Hat
Divide the teens into two teams and have them stand in two single file lines. Give the first player in each line a baseball cap or bucket hat. When you say, "Go," the teens have to place the cap on their heads and pass it from player to player. However, they cannot use their hands. If the hat falls on the ground, the team has to start over. The first team to pass the hat all the way down their team line without using their hands wins the game.
Hoop Circles
Tell the teens to divide into teams of eight to 10 players and have them stand in a circle holding hands. Undo two players' hands and place a hula hoop onto each circle, then reconnect their hands. When you say, "Race," the teams have to get the hula hoop all the way around their team circles without letting go of each other's hands. The first team to get the hula hoop all the way around the circle wins the game.
Bandannas
Divide the teens into two teams and give each team a bandanna. Have each team go to a different location, such as the front yard and back yard or two different rooms indoors. Tell the teams they have five minutes to hide the bandanna. After five minutes, the teams switch locations. The first team to find the hidden bandanna wins the game. If you do not have bandannas, you can use two small rags.
