Game Ideas

• Boys love forts, help them create one with blankets, pillows and chairs. Then let their imaginations run wild as they play kings and knights. Have a chore competition, either time the boys or have them compete to see who can finish their assignments first.

  Another fun game is to use toilet paper rolls as bowling pins and roll up socks to throw at them. To use up their energy, have the boys play foot volleyball. Tell the boys to set up face up leaning on their hands and feet. Then, let them kick the ball around without letting it touch the floor.

Craft Ideas

• Create binoculars with two toilet paper rolls. Glue them together and then let the boys decorate it with stickers and markers. Another creative craft is to make castles, boats or spaceships out of big cardboard boxes. Let the boys cut out and decorate the boxes.

  Children love to play make believe, and to make the games more fun they can create pirate hats out of black card stock or foam. Cut the shape of the hat and let the boys draw the skeleton and decorate it. Then, make a headband out of card stock and glue the hat into it.
