Makeovers
Little girls enjoy being pretty and making things pretty. Get some old clothes and flamboyant accessories like sunglasses, boas and costume jewelry for them to try on. Then get play makeup and have the girls put on each other's eye shadow, lipstick and blush. You can even have them host a pretend fashion show, sporting their new looks.
Treasure Hunt
This can be a scavenger type hunt where the girls have to follow specific clues, or it could be in the style of an Easter egg hunt, where candy and prizes are randomly hidden throughout the home and yard. Either way, have your girls group search for the treasure in teams or pairs so that they have someone to talk to while they hunt.
Decorate
Whether it's bedazzling some old clothes or coloring pictures, girls like to decorate. One idea is to have them decorate jewelry boxes that they can store their costume jewelry in. Another fun thing to do is to have them make jewelry. Making beaded necklaces is fun and easy. It may also be fun to bake cookies or cupcakes and have the girls decorate several of them before eating them.
Sing and Dance
Sometimes it's a blast to just turn on some music and let the girls dance. But if you want to take it to another level, you can have karaoke. Let the girls take turns singing while the other girls dance to the music. They don't have to read the words off of a screen to have a good time. Just give them a microphone, a speaker and a song that they know.
Outdoor Games
Get the girls outside if the weather permits. You can have a hula hoop contest to see who can hula hoop the longest. They could also play jump rope games like double dutch, or get the sidewalk chalk out and play hopscotch. A rousing game of freeze tag is also fun for girls--especially if you put a little twist on it. Have the person who's "it" be the evil ice queen, and the rest of the girls are princesses.
