Mom's Minivan

• Let the kids play a game of car bingo--a variation of the original bingo game. There are four different cards with the same pictures scrambled in different order. The Mom's Minivan website has two sets of cards to choose from: roadside items or vehicles. Kids search as they travel and mark off what they find. Word Searches and Scrambles

• Word searches and scrambles can occupy spaces of time and allow kids to put on their thinking cap. Word searches and scrambles may be printed from any of the mentioned websites. A word search hides words within groups of letters. Kids find the individual words and circle them across, down, up and sometimes diagonal. Searches at a beginner level will more than likely not have words going diagonally. Word scrambles differ from word searches in that letters for an individual word are scrambled and kids must find what word makes up the scrambled letters. Both word searches and scrambles are available for beginner and advanced readers online or within select newspapers and magazines.
