Magic Mountain Fun Centers
Magic Mountain Fun Centers offers a variety of entertainment for children, including arcade games, miniature golf, go-karts, pizza and snacks, batting cages, bumper cars and other activities. Magic Mountain has two locations in Columbus: East Columbus and Polaris. Both locations are available for birthday parties. There are weekly specials offering discounts, such as unlimited miniature golf for one price. There is no fee for admission.
Galaxy Games and Golf
Galaxy Games and Golf offers food, arcade games and the "FunGym," a 3,500-square-foot indoor playground, in which parents are invited to accompany their children in some parts of its playground with larger slides and tubes. It has two miniature golf courses: a nine-hole animal-themed course for children and a larger, scenic 18-hole "Adventure Golf" course with caves and waterfalls. There are weekly specials and package deals offering discounts on games and "FunGym" admission. The facility is available for birthday parties.

An alternative to taking your children to an amusement center is having the party come to you. Mr. Game Room offers mobile gaming centers that come to your location. The party centers contain various types of gaming consoles and large, high-definition screens. Two- and three-hour parties are available, for groups of 12, 15, 24 and 36. Participants can play a single game interactively or up to six games simultaneously.
Fort Rapids Indoor Waterpark Resort
An alternative to amusement centers that cater to video-game lovers is Fort Rapids Indoor Waterpark Resort. Although the resort does include an arcade, its primary attraction is its 60,000-square-foot water park which features 12 unique rides and a slower-paced river for tubing. Fort Rapids is an operating hotel, but it is not necessary to rent a room to enjoy the water park -- day passes are available. The water park is heated and open during winter.
