Good Kid's Games for Girls

When planning a birthday party for young girls, use your imagination to create games for a small or large group. Games prevent boredom and give any unfamiliar faces a chance to make new friends. From a nail-polish game to a beach-ball dare game, the girls can use their imagination and creativity while participating in exciting games. Awarding small prizes to game winners will keep the girls ready for the next game.
  1. Nail-Polish Game

    • Have the girls sit around a table and put a basket full of nail polish in the middle of the table. Select one girl to go first. She grabs a bottle of nail polish and says a number. If she says "Three," the girls pass the bottle around the table to the third girl, who has to paint one of her nails that color. That girl picks another color and another number. If she says "Six," the bottle goes to the sixth player, who must paint one of her nails.

The winner is the first girl to have all 10 of her nails painted. Everyone waits until all the other girls have their nails done. Give the girls glitter and decals to fancy up their nails.

    Toilet Paper Dresses

    • Divide the girls into teams of four or five and give each team two rolls of toilet paper. Send the girls into different rooms and tell them that they have 30 minutes to make a dress using toilet paper. They can use one of the girls on the team as a model on whom to build the dress. After 30 minutes, the models come out and show everyone the toilet paper dress creations. Award prizes for the best, silliest, scariest and funniest dresses.

    Sharing Secrets

    • Give each girl 10 dry beans and have all the girls sit in a circle. Select one girl to go first. She goes to the middle of the circle and mentions something she has never done, such as "I have never been out of the country" or "I have never been to a beach." Any girl that has done that must give her one of her dry beans. Once a girl loses all her beans, she is out of the game. The player with the most beans at the end of the game wins.

    Beach-Ball Dares

    • Write several dares--such as "Sing the chorus to your favorite song," "Stand on your head for one minute" or "Tell everyone who your secret celebrity crush is and why"--on a beach ball. The girls sit in a circle and toss the ball to one another. When a girl catches the ball, she must do the dare or answer the question that is under her right thumb. Award a small prize to each girl who completes a dare or truthfully answers a question.
