Camouflage Balloon Popping
Blow up 20 brown, green and black balloons before the party starts. Divide the players into three teams and give each team a color (brown, green or black). Mark a starting line 20 feet away from the balloons and mix all the balloons up. When you say, "Go," all the players' race to the balloons and each team begins popping their team color. The first team to pop all their team balloons wins the game. The players can use their hands to squeeze the balloons, they can jump on the balloons or sit on the balloons to pop them.
Camouflage Penny Hunt
Spray paint several pennies black and green, and leave some brown. Hide the pennies around the party area and tell the children they are going to have a penny scavenger hunt. Give each child a camouflage favor bag. When you say, "Go," the children race around the party area and try to find as many pennies as possible. The player who finds the most pennies wins the camouflage penny hunt.
Capture the Camouflage Flag
Divide the players into two teams and give each team a camouflage flag or bandanna. Mark off two equal areas for both teams. Be sure to build the playing areas around objects so the teams will have places to hide their flags. You can have one team in the front yard and one team in the backyard. When you say, "Hide your flag," the teams have five minutes to hide their team flag. At the end of five minutes, tell the teams to switch sides. The first team to find the other team's camouflage flag wins the game.
Camouflage Beanbag Toss
Paint a poster board camouflage with black, brown and green paint. Tape the board to the bottom of a cardboard box and cut holes in the box. Write a point value around each hole and lean the board up against a wall. Purchase black, brown and green beanbags from your local craft store or make your own using socks, rice and paint. Give each child five beanbags to toss in the holes. Add each child's points up as they score and the player who has the highest score at the end of the game is the winner.
