  Set up a Magic Tent for the children. The tent is 4-by-4 feet, and tall enough that young children can stand up in it.

  Hide the scavenger hunt clues around the house before game play starts.

  Enter the tent with the children.

  Begin reading the story that comes with the game until you reach a scavenger hunt stopping point. When you reach that point, have the kids go find the first scavenger hunt clue. Do this each time you come to a stopping point.

  Gather all the clues together. Each clue is a puzzle piece. Once all the clues are collected, the children should build the puzzle. The finished puzzle provides a final clue about the mystery in the storybook.

  Help the kids to solve the mystery only if they need it.
