How to Make Girls' Hair Games for Parties

Set out hair tools and accessories such as jeweled barrettes, glittery hair snap clips, tiaras, combs, brushes, curlers, hair jewels, hair wraps, bright colored hair extensions and wigs, elastic hair ties, ribbons, curling irons and straightening irons. Make a special sign for the curling and straightening irons that reads "Use With Adult Supervision ONLY." Separate tools and accessories into two piles, making sure each pile has an equal number of accessories and tools.

Divide the girls into two even teams. Each team should have a certain number of "stylists" and a certain number of "models." Explain the rules of the game to the girls: each team must come up with the most creative hair styles possible, which the "models" will display on the "runway." Create the runway out of paper or fabric such as a "red carpet." The girls can use as many of the hair accessories and tools as they want, but make sure they are supervised when using the hot tools. Giving the girls a certain amount of time to complete the looks adds to the excitement of the game.

Have the "models" walk their runway. Play music while the runway show is taking place and be sure to cheer loudly for each girl. Give out prizes for "Most Creative" and "Goofiest" hair style if desired. Give out only one prize for "Most Creative" or several prizes, or award first, second and third place. Also give out smaller favors to the girls that do not win so they have something to take home as well. Purchase small trophy favors as the awards, give out hair accessory kits or come up with another award option.

Reassign models and stylists and play the game as many times as desired. Playing the game more than once also allows more of the girls to win prizes.
