How to Play with a Pitch-N-Catch Velcro Game

The Pitch 'n' Catch Velcro game is a fun game for children to play outdoors. It consists of two or more players tossing a felt-lined ball back and forth, using Velcro pads attached to their hands to catch the ball. It is similar to a standard baseball catch game, just with a little twist added to make it more accessible for children.

Instructions

  Put on the equipment. Any Pitch 'n' Catch game should come with a ball and at least two Velcro-lined paddles to be strapped on to your hand. Strap on this paddle, and have your partner or partners do the same.

  Separate from each other, both backing up to throwing distance, careful not to get too far away from each other's comfortable throwing range.

  Have one person throw the ball to the other person. The catcher will use his paddle to put it under the ball so that it will land on the paddle. Because of the nature of the ball and the sticking properties of the Velcro, the ball should just have to make contact with the paddle and it will be caught.

  Have the catcher of the last pass pitch the ball back to the original thrower who will then catch the ball. Do this repeatedly to have a successful game going.
