Things You'll Need
Instructions
Write down the names of the games on index cards. At a minimum choose Distance Throw, Ring Throw, Plane Catch, Hit the Target and Airborne. The goal for each game is different. Distance throw awards points to the plane that flies the farthest. Ring Throw awards points to planes that land in a Hula Hoop placed on the ground. Plane Catch awards points to the person who catches the plane thrown by another player. Hit the Target awards points to planes hitting a predetermined target. Airborne awards points to the plane that stays aloft the longest.
Collect the players who want to play your plane game. While in front of the players, choose three index cards at random. These will be the three games that will be played in order to determine the overall winner. Make sure everyone knows that one point is awarded for each game.
Pass out printer paper to all of the players so they can build their paper airplanes. Knowing the games in advance will help them choose what kind of plane they wish to build.
Allow everyone to have a turn in each game, keeping track of points awarded. At the end of the three games, add up the points and announce a winner.
