Play Dwarf
At the beginning of the game, you will be able to choose what character you'd like to play. You can select a Human, Elf, Felyne, Troll, Dwarf or Storm Giant. All characters have their strengths and weaknesses, but choosing a Dwarf seems to be the best choice. The reason is that this character gets more gold from each combat, allowing you to buy the latest weaponry and armor to win more fights and get more gold.
Attack Lower-Ranking Warriors
Legend of the Green Drag allows players to fight one another. Every player, or warrior, has a certain level, which is determined by the number of monsters they kill. Players that have a lower level than you have fewer weapons and less armor, making them an easy target. Fight them and take their gold. Use your gold to buy new fighting gear, steadily building your arsenal.
Use Keyboard Commands
You can use either keyboard or mouse commands to play your character. Experienced players have observed that keyboard commands work faster, so use them instead of clicking the mouse. You will have an advantage over players who use the mouse.
Don't Fight the Master Early
To get from one level to another, you need to fight and defeat your master. Don't be in a hurry here. Accumulate gold and use it to get good armor and weapons. In fact, you can buy level 3 weapons while still on level 1, giving you another advantage when dealing with level 1 monsters and other players. When you accumulate enough Attach and Defense points (do that by constantly updating your arsenal), then it's time to find and defeat the master.
