Chubby Santa
To give your kids a good laugh, play this Santa game. Begin by dividing the children into two or more teams. Have each of the teams pick one player to play Santa. Instruct Santa to put on an extra-large Santa costume. Then, hand each of the teams a packet of empty balloons. When you say "Go," the players all quickly have to blow up the balloons. They then place the balloons inside Santa's suit so that they fill the suit out. Once two minutes passes, tell the kids to stop. Pluck all of the balloons out of each Santa suit and count them. The team who placed the most balloons inside their Santa's suit wins the game.
Ornament Hunt
Before you trim your Christmas tree, play this scavenger hunt game. Begin by gathering up some Christmas ornaments. Tape a piece of masking tape on the side of five of the ornaments and draw a star on the tape. Then, hide all of the ornaments (at least 20) around the house. Hand each of the players a basket. When you say "Go," tell them all to quickly find as many ornaments as they can. After the kids have found all the ornaments, have everyone count the amount of objects they found. The player with the most ornaments gets a prize. Any player who found an ornament with a star on it gets a Chocolate Santa.
Jinglin' Bells
See how sneaky your kids can be with this Christmas game. Before you start, tie three or four Christmas bells to the bottom of a chair. Place the chair in the middle of a large room. Select a player to become Santa and sit him down in the chair. All the other players sit on one side of the room so Santa can't see them. When ready, point to one of the children to go first. She moves towards the chair with the object of stealing one of the Christmas bells. However, if Santa believes he hears someone behind him, he shouts out "Ho! Ho! Ho!" If someone was behind him, that person becomes the new Santa. The game continues on like this until the kids have successfully stolen all the Christmas bells.
