Mount the electronic dartboard on the wall so the bullseye is five feet, eight inches above the ground.
Determine where the throwing line will be located, which is generally 7 feet 9¼ inches from the face of the board. Mark the line with tape, if desired, or simply make it clear where it is prior to the game.
Turn the dartboard on, and select the game or mode you wish to play. Most electronic dartboards will come with a number of different modes, including simple countdown games, such as 301 or 501, or more complex games, such as cricket or baseball.
Press the "Double" button if playing countdown style to determine if the game must be won on a double.
Press the "Player" button until the board displays the desired number of players.
Press the "Start" button to begin. The rules of an electronic dart board are the same as those of a traditional cork board.
