Electronic Dart Board Game Instructions

Darts is a popular pub game that involves players or teams taking turns throwing darts at a circular board. Each player throws three darts at a board, which is divided into 20 slices, with four zones in each slice, and a two-tiered bullseye in the center. Certain slices are worth different points. The object is to score the most points. Electronic dart boards are a great option for those looking to play darts at home. Not only do electronic boards feature plastic or rubber-tipped darts - which will not stick in the wall like pointed darts, or pose potential dangers to children - but they are can automatically keep score.

Instructions

  Mount the electronic dartboard on the wall so the bullseye is five feet, eight inches above the ground.

  Determine where the throwing line will be located, which is generally 7 feet 9¼ inches from the face of the board. Mark the line with tape, if desired, or simply make it clear where it is prior to the game.

  Turn the dartboard on, and select the game or mode you wish to play. Most electronic dartboards will come with a number of different modes, including simple countdown games, such as 301 or 501, or more complex games, such as cricket or baseball.

  Press the "Double" button if playing countdown style to determine if the game must be won on a double.

  Press the "Player" button until the board displays the desired number of players.

  Press the "Start" button to begin. The rules of an electronic dart board are the same as those of a traditional cork board.
