Blindfolded Christmas Paintings
To start, gather all the children around a table and give each of them a piece of paper and some painting supplies. Tell them to memorize where each color of paint is located. After about a minute, blindfold all of them. Then, give them step-by-step instructions to draw a Christmas-themed painting. For instance, you can start by telling them to draw a Christmas tree. After they finish drawing the tree, tell them to draw ornaments on the tree; then presents under the tree; then a fireplace to the right of the tree. Continue until you have given them at least five separate instructions. Have everyone take off their blindfolds while you survey their paintings. Give points to the players for every instruction they performed correctly; for instance, give a player a point if he painted the ornaments directly on the tree. The player with the most points wins the game.
Paint the Christmas Objects
Once all of the players have their painting supplies and a piece of paper beside them, instruct them to close their eyes. Hand each of them the same Christmas object, such as candy canes. Give them about 10 seconds to feel the objects, and then take the objects away. Tell them all to paint the object they believe they held in their hands. After about a minute has passed, tell them all to stop. Survey each of the paintings and give a point to every player who correctly painted the object you gave them. Continue playing for multiple rounds, making the objects harder to identify for every new round. Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins.
Christmas Finger Paint Makeovers
Instead of using paper as a canvas, have the kids use their peers. Begin by writing down on separate index cards the names of Christmas characters, such as Santa Claus, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. Split the children into pairs. Tape an index card to the forehead of one player in each pair, making sure that the chosen player does not see the name written there. The player with the card on her forehead has to ask yes or no questions to figure out what character is written on the card. As soon as she believes she's figured it out, she uses finger paint to paint her partner's face to look like the character. The teams that correctly painted the right character get a Christmas prize.
