My Insaniquarium Deluxe Won't Save the Game

Insaniquarium Deluxe is a personal computer game originally introduced in 2004. The game was developed by Flying Bear Entertainment and published by Pop Cap games. In Insaniquarium Deluxe, you will feed virtual fish, fight invading aliens and advance through a variety of virtual fish tanks. To beat each stage of Insaniquarium Deluxe, you have to purchase three puzzle pieces, which form an egg when assembled. You can then crack the egg open to reveal a new creature that will help you in future stages of the game.

Instructions

  Launch the Insaniquarium Deluxe game and select "start new game" if you are beginning a new game, or select "load saved game" if you want to load a previous game. To start a new game you will need to enter your name or nickname. This name will help identify your saved game in the future.

  Begin playing stage one of Insaniquarium, or begin playing the last stage that you saved in your saved game. Feed your fish and battle any enemies, never allowing all fish to die at any point, because that will end the game and progress will not be saved.

  Purchase egg puzzle pieces as soon as you have the coins available to do so. You must purchase three egg pieces to complete each stage.

  Crack open the egg to reveal a new character. In future stages you will have this character in your fish tank, and it will provide helpful tips or prizes that will allow you to advance more quickly. Some creatures provide extra coins, while some help you fight aliens, for example.

  Wait for the words "Your game has been saved" to appear on your screen. This will appear automatically after every stage conclusion. The game will then give you an option to continue or to exit to the main menu. If you choose to continue, you will begin on the next stage and all your former progress will be saved. If you choose to exit to the main menu, you will have options to quit or to load a different saved game.
