Tomb of the Unknown Mummy
Presented by National Geographic Kids, this is a mystery to be solved by collecting clues. Probe an Egyptian tomb armed with only a lantern and find objects that help describe the mummy that is buried there. Once you have found all the items or if you have used up all of your four lanterns, then you try and guess which mummy is buried in the tomb. Research the found items in an interactive book and then make your best guess. The sarcophagus opens and you know if you've guessed the right mummy.
Ancient Egypt Jeopardy
Fashioned after the popular TV game show, Ancient Egypt Jeopardy asks questions about Egypt's geography, civilization, daily life and the New Kingdom. This game is suitable for older children and adults. One or two players challenge the board and/or each other by answering questions with varying degrees of difficulty. An example of an easy 100-point question would ask the name of the largest river in Egypt. A difficult question, worth 500 points would ask where the tomb of King Tut was discovered. The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the game.
