  1. Barrel of Monkeys

    • Barrel of Monkeys is probably one of the most popular games for young children that Hasbro makes. This is a game that parents can remember playing for themselves. The idea behind Barrel of Monkeys is that whoever picks up the most monkeys in a long string is the winner. This games teaches children patience and to work slowly and carefully to accomplish a task. This game is for ages 3 to 7.

    Play-Doh Time Race Game

    • Teach your kids about how an assembly line works, but do it in a fun way. Play-doh is a favorite for many kids. Players must use the molds and the play-doh to create toys. The toys must then go down the assembly line. The more toys you get down the line the better. However, there are other players who are ready to smash your toys before they can get to the toy box. Play this game with your kids from ages 4 and up.

    Alphie

    • Alphie is a robot game for individual children. You can insert cards into Alphie and he teaches preschool children about their letters, numbers and colors. Alphie comes with 30 cards that fit nicely into his backpack, but if your child gets tired of the same old cards, there are expansion packs you can buy to add more fun and education to your child's playtime. Buy Alphie for kids age 3 and up.

    Hungry Hungry Hippos

    • Hungry Hungry Hippos is a game for four kids to play at a time. Each child chooses one of the hippo spots after filling the "pond" with marbles. The children then press the lever to get their hippo to eat the marbles. Play continues until the "pond" is empty. The child that got the most marbles is the winner. Hasbro recommends this game for children ages 3 and up since there are small pieces that young ones could swallow.

    Handy Manny Picture Game

    • Teach your children Spanish words while playing a game. In Handy Manny, children have to work their way around the board collecting items that Handy Manny needs for his workshop. As the children collect the tools they receive cards with the English and the Spanish word on it to help them learn some simple Spanish vocabulary.
