How to Make a LEGO Man Game

You can make a Lego man game that entertains a party group for hours. Each Lego man, or minifigure, is comprised of several individual parts that can be separated and interchanged. Lego builders often combine parts from several minifigures to create custom characters. Lego man games encourage imaginative play and competition. Contests are held by many Lego enthusiast groups, where Lego builders submit a customized Lego man in a themed scene also made of Lego.

Things You'll Need

Lego minifigures
Miscellaneous Lego pieces and minifigure accessories
Lego platforms
Single die
Impartial judge
Camera (optional)
Ribbons (optional)

Instructions

  Disassemble one Lego minifigure per player by pulling the heads, legs and hands off the torsos and leaving the arms intact. Separate the body parts into piles by the type of part. Make one other pile of all the miscellaneous Lego pieces and minifigure accessories.

  Hand each player a flat Lego platform of equal size. Roll the die to see which player gets the highest number and gets to go first. Have players cast a second roll in the event of a tie.

  Instruct players to take turns rolling the die to determine how many Lego pieces they are able to select. Players may only take one of each body part type.

  Ask players to move apart from each other and begin to build, once all players have selected the six essential pieces for their Lego man. Encourage players to design and construct a small scene on the Lego platform to complement the theme of their custom Lego minifigure.

  Turn the finished Lego man scenes over to an impartial judge for places to be awarded. Tell the judge to put the Lego vignettes in order based on their originality, use of materials and builder skill. Take pictures and give out ribbons to make the Lego man game an even more memorable event.
