Building the board
Measure and mark a rectangle on the plywood. Use a 24-by-48 inch size for a regulation board, according to the American Cornhole Association. Wear safety goggles while cutting the rectangle with the circular saw or other suitable tool.
Mark circles for the holes. Each circle should be about the same diameter as one side of the beanbags to be used or a little larger. Put on safety goggles. Cut the holes using a jigsaw or compass saw.
Mark a second rectangle the same length as the first one, but only 12 inches wide. Don the goggles and cut out the rectangle.
Bisect the smaller rectangle diagonally, creating two right triangles.
Match the 48 inch side of one triangle to the back one of the 48 inch sides of the rectangle at a 90 degree angle. Attach the two using a hammer and several nails along the length. Repeat on the other side with the second triangle.
Sand any rough spots on the board. Paint if desired.
Place the board on a level surface, standing on the support triangles. Mark a throwing line with tape, chalk or some other indicator. Hand out the beanbags.
