Printable Activities for Kids

The next time your son tells you he is bored, get him involved in activities you can print right off your computer. Kids love coloring pages, games and puzzles they can print and work on within seconds. Get out some crayons and markers and encourage the kids to create some fun with activities from the internet.
  1. Super Powers Matching

    • Print out a Super Powers Matching Game (see References) for your little superhero fans. Using a crayon or marker, match the famous superhero with his unique power. Draw a line from the superhero to the power.

    Jigsaw Puzzles

    • Young children love animal jigsaw puzzles. Once you download the template (see References) and print it out, glue it to a piece of cardboard or poster board and cut the pieces out. That will allow the pieces to be sturdier so you can put together the puzzle as many times as you want. Each child can choose a different animal or print out one of each for everyone.

    Coloring Pages

    • The Crayola website features many coloring pages to download (see References.) Provide lots of crayons, markers, colored pencils and even glitter to liven up the coloring pages. Embellish the coloring pages with foam stickers, stick on google eyes and sequins.

    Maze

    • Print out a maze from the Kaboose educational website, Funschool (see References.) Mazes are fun and challenging for kids of all ages. You may want to do the maze in pencil in case you need to erase your path and continue a different one.
