Funny Games for Kids to Play

Games that test kids’ physical abilities, motor skills and thought processes are usually a hit with most age groups. However, younger kids usually have a good time playing funny games that make them laugh. These games are simple to play and usually do not require many accessories, if any at all. Even older kids and adults can enjoy playing funny games.
  1. Gigglebelly Game

    • One player lies down on her back and another player lies down with her head on the first player&'s belly. The third player then lies down with his head on the second player&'s belly and so forth. All the players wind up zigzagged around the floor, each with his head on someone&'s belly. Player one shouts, "Ha!" Player two then answers with a loud, "Ha, ha!" The third player responds, "Ha, ha, ha!" This continues until all the players take a turn or until all the kids find themselves in a giggling fit. This uncontrollable laughter in combination with all the kids’ heads bouncing on each other’s bellies makes for a very funny game.

    Knock Your Socks Off

    • This is a fun wrestling game where players try to remove each other’s socks. As each player loses both socks, he or she is out of the game. Lay a blanket or sheet on the floor; this serves as the wrestling mat. Have players sit on the blanket and remove shoes, leaving socks on. Give a signal to start the game and once the game officially starts, players crawl around on the sheet and try to knock off each other’s socks before losing their own socks. Kicking or twisting socks off is not permitted; socks must be pulled off. The last person to keep at least one sock on is the winner.

    Feather Vault

    • All you need for this game are some feathers. On the count of three, players try blowing feathers overhead. The player to keep his in the air above the longest without using her hands is the winner. To make this game challenging, pair the kids up and facing each other 3 feet apart, then try to volley a feather back and forth.
