Math
The primary purpose of this game is to help kids learn how to do basic mathematical operations. You should have a math problem on one side of the flash card and the answer on the other. Begin by only showing the problem side and see whether your child can come up with the answer before you show her the solution on the other side. You can come up with a points system where you reward a point for each correct answer and a reward after a certain number of points.
Vocabulary
Have a vocabulary word on one side of the flash card with a picture depicting the word on the other. Begin by showing the picture side to your child and see whether he can come up with the corresponding word. Again, you can have a points system with rewards to encourage your child.
Memory
The classic game of memory is fun from start to end. Get your kid involved by drawing two identical pictures on two flash cards. When you have enough pairs, you can play the game by flipping all the flash cards face down. Have your child try to find a matching pair by flipping two cards at a time. When they do not match, flip the two cards back over so they are once again face down. When you or your child makes a correct match, remove the matched cards and set them next to you. At the end of the game, the person with the most pairs of matched cards wins.
