Kangaroo Relay
Kangaroo Relay is a fun zoo game for kids that requires balance and light physical activity. Have the children pretend to be kangaroos carrying their young in pouches. Each child must crawl across the playing area on hands and feet with their stomachs facing upwards. Place a bean bag on each child's belly to represent the kangaroo's pouch. Begin the race when all players are poised with bean bags on their stomachs and ready to go. If the bean bag falls off, the player must pick it up and begin again. The first child to reach the finish line wins.
Zoo Keeper
The My Animal Games website has a variety of interactive online games including several related to zoo animals. Zoo Keeper has a checkerboard type of screen with faces of various zoo animals in each square. Use the mouse to rearrange the images by dragging and dropping them to create three of the same animals in a row and score points in a specified period of time. Zoo Keeper has two levels of difficulty.
