Scavenger Hunt
A scavenger hunt is a classic game that can still be fun for young boys today. Choose a specific theme and hide related items around your home or yard, or use generic everyday items to accomplish the same goal. Have the boys search for the items and collect them in bags or baskets. The hunt can be performed individually or in teams, and the child or team who retrieves the most hidden objects wins.
Indoor Bowling
Creating an indoor bowling alley can be a simple and fun way to keep your overnight guests entertained. You can purchase a soft plastic or foam bowling game at most toy or department stores, or make your own from empty two-liter pop bottles and a soft ball. Clear a section of a large room and set the pins or pop bottles up like bowling pins at the far end. Have the boys take turns rolling the ball at the pins from the other side of the room.
Board And Table Games
If you prefer to keep the boys quiet and seated, a variety of board and table games may be a more desirable form of entertainment for you. Games like Monopoly, Yahtzee, Clue or Jenga are popular games among kids and teens that can keep the party confined to one area. Card games like poker, blackjack or gin rummy are other stationary games that are fun and simple for children. Set up several games on multiple tables in one room to create a game room atmosphere.
