How to Play the Game Lucky Ducks

Lucky Ducks, released in 1995 by Milton Bradley, is a simple children's game meant to teach basic colors and matching skills. The game is designed for two to four players and doesn't have any small parts that might be choking hazards for young players. There are no dice, spinners or cards. Just make sure that your kids don't try to check the underbelly color of live birds after playing Lucky Ducks.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the 12 ducks on the duck pond channel. Make sure that all ducks are facing forward, keeping in mind that the pond will rotate clockwise.

    • 2

Select one of the cardboard duck nests. Each has a different color, including blue, red, green and yellow.

    • 3

Turn on the rotating duck pond. Note that many game owners say that the accompanying "quack quack" sound effects are very loud.

    • 4

Take turns selecting a duck from the pond. Turn it over to see the sticker on the bottom. If the sticker's color matches your nest's color, place the duck on one of the colored dots in your nest. If it doesn't match, replace the duck in the pond.

    • 5

Win the game by being the first to find all four of your ducks in the pond.
