Pursuit Language Arts
Intended for two to four players, the Pursuit Language Arts board game challenges students as they move around a multicolored board answering questions and strategically plotting their next move. Players practice building words and matching prefixes with roots. They take turns twirling the spinner and striving to reach the center of the board. The first player to the center with all four of his pawns wins the game. Build a vocabulary of more than 200 words, using the most commonly used prefixes and 68 root words.

Youths also get a chance to flex their grammar muscles by showing off their adjective clauses, comparisons and prepositions knowledge. They identify sentences with proper grammar usage, moving around the game board from dollar space to dollar space and up the pyramid when answering questions correctly. Special spaces that advance play more rapidly apply. Players are timed when giving answers to make play challenging. The first person to the top of the pyramid wins.
